You can check out Bob & Darcie’s Golden Rock Inn wedding rehearsal dinner or check out their day after catamaran sail here!
1,279 miles from Miami in the Eastern Caribbean sits the island of Nevis (the smaller half of the two island nation, St. Kitts & Nevis) and it is a very special place.  This tropical haven is home to the Four Seasons Resort Nevis & the chosen location for Darcie & Bob’s fantastic destination wedding.
Darcie & Bob gathered 24 of their closest friends and family at the Four Seasons over the Thanksgiving holiday to be with them as they celebrated the beginning of their marriage.
Her mom and her friend Laura are trying to help save the makeup after Darcie is overwhelmed with the thoughtfulness of Bob’s gift to her before the wedding! Flowers by the Four Seasons Resort accompanied by family heirloom pin and bracelet along with her perfectly stylish Prada sandals.
You may have heard that Four Seasons takes service seriously… Take a look at this. Darcie’s dress didn’t have a closure, it was a slip on so she needed to put it on before getting her hair and makeup finished which left a few wrinkles. Â Well, once Darcie got back to her room 4 staff members from the Four Seasons resort arrived to take care of steaming her dress while it was on! Â Came out perfect! Here she is, Darcie in her Pnina Tornai gown! Once everyone was ready, the golf carts were there to whisk us up the hillside to the 10th tee which is situated on a hillside overlooking a beautiful landscape and the Caribbean Sea.
Majestic Nevis Peak in the background creating a perfect setting! Darcie & Bob in the beautiful open air lobby of the Four Seasons’ Great House. Cake by the Four Seasons Resort How can you get more perfect than a wedding reception in the Caribbean set only yards away from the sea? Darcie assembled the initials for each guest (scratch that, I’m told that Bob did one of them 🙂 ) on a compass in the place of seating cards as a part of the nautical wedding design.
Remember how is said Nevis is a special place? Â You didn’t believe me? Â Here’s the proof… Just as we were getting ready for a few family group portraits this unbelivable scene appeared before our eyes! Â How can you not take advantage of a rainbow in the Caribbean!?!?
The only problem with rainbows though… they mean rain is nearby. The rain was no problem though!  It didn’t last long at all and the Four Seasons staff was all ready with a tent to set up over the dinner tables and plenty of space and hospitality at the wonderful restaurant Mango (which was just a few yards from the reception site) during the cocktail hour. A local Nevisian steel drum band provided the great musical entertainment for the reception.
One of my favorite moments from the entire day!
Hey Chris! you should upload those pics of me and cam, i want to upload them to fb.
